One of the challenges with muscle testing is the subjective methods of measuring muscle response, which many people rightfully question. We prefer more objective, quantified and uninfluenced measurement.
Remembering that we teach muscle testing for a variety of purposes, let's say for example you're testing 2 brands of vitamins: Brand A and Brand B. First, you measure your normal muscle strength. Then you put a sample of Brand A against the sternum, and measure your immediate muscle reaction. You see an increase in muscle response of 10 pounds. So you mark Brand A as testing +10.
Then you test Brand B, and you see a decrease in muscle response of -15. Do you think your body is reacting more positively to Brand A, and that perhaps it's trying to tell you that consuming Brand B wouldn't be a great idea? If you said yes, we would agree with you.
That's the basic premise, but there's much more to it than that. You have to use accurate protocols for determining things like what's best, how much you need, the best time of day to consume it, booster amounts, combinations, etc. We've spent thousands of hours developing and refining protocols so they're accurate - and more importantly - user-friendly.
